Our plans cover repairs that are often excluded from standard homeowners insurance, supported by a network of skilled service providers. We provide a range of home protection plans designed to manage unexpected expenses and offer services for repairs and maintenance.
The Kitchen Essentials Plan is an affordable way to protect your home's refrigerator and range — two of your most essential kitchen appliances. If either unit experiences a mechanical failure or breaks down from normal use, just give us a call. We'll connect you with a service professional from our network who will come to your home and resolve the issue. For a full list of covered repairs, please refer to our Customer Agreement.
Standard homeowners insurance typically does not cover repairs for your appliances, meaning you're responsible for their maintenance and repairs. By enrolling in the Kitchen Essentials Plan, you gain protection that goes beyond what standard homeowners insurance usually provides.
Your refrigerator and cooking range are among the most frequently used and vital appliances in your home. If either one stops working, it can disrupt your family's routine. Repairs can be costly, but NIPSCO Service Partners™* helps cover those unexpected expenses. We manage the entire process, including finding a contractor for the repairs, making it hassle-free for you.

The Kitchen Essentials Plan covers one refrigerator and one range (or wall oven/cooktop). If the refrigerator includes an integrated freezer, icemaker, and ice and/or water dispenser, those are also covered. Limitations and exclusions apply; see the Customer Agreement for details.
Your enrollment begins the day Oncourse processes your enrollment, which is the enrollment date on your welcome letter. Your protection and ability to make a claim begin 30 days after the enrollment date. The first year of coverage includes a 30-day waiting period and 11 months of coverage.
The Kitchen Essentials Plan provides up to $400 per incident (up to a combined total of $2,000 per year) for covered repairs and/or reimbursement toward the replacement of one refrigerator and/or one range (or wall oven/cooktop).
